Ninja & Parkour Classes

Classes run continuously from September 5, 2023 – August 26, 2024 – join our classes anytime!

PLEASE NOTE – We are operating on a continuous enrollment basis. Enrollment in the class begins at the time of online sign up completion. Please contact us if you would like to delay your start date by a week. 

Our Ninja & Parkour programs will be continuous from September – August (including through Spring Break and Summer) with a short break for Christmas. Participants are welcome to join a class at any time and can drop a class with 30-days written notice. Minimum 2 month commitment required. Fees are pro-rated at the time of registration for those starting after the first class of the month.

Students will have the opportunity to level up to more advanced classes based on skill evaluations throughout the year. Coaches will make recommendations to the parent/guardian as soon as they feel the athlete is ready to move to the next level. If you are not sure which class is right for your child, our staff will be happy to help you make the correct selection. Please email our Customer Administration Team (info@apnfa.ca) if you require help in selecting the right class for your child!

The times listed below are start and finish times for each class – please ensure that your child is able to attend the full class (for safety reasons it’s mandatory for your child to be present during the warm-up portion of the class).

Tuition fees listed per month. Participants are welcome to join a class at any time and can drop a class with 30-days written notice. Fees are pro-rated at the time of registration for those starting after the first class of the month. Minimum 2 month commitment required.

During the online registration process you will be asked for:

  • BC medical number for your child(ren)
  • Payment arrangements for the class tuition (Credit Card or Bank Account – NO VISA DEBIT)

Please note: in addition to the first month of tuition, you will be charged a $50 enrolment fee that covers both insurance and an annual registration fee (remember that unless you have submitted a drop notice, your enrolment for 2023-2024 continues through Aug 26th, 2024). You will be charged at or shortly after the time of registration for the enrolment fee and first month’s tuition (pro-rated as applicable) to hold your child’s spot in the class. If you are waitlisted, you will not be charged unless a spot becomes available and you first confirm enrolment in the class. 

Ninja

Ninja classes help to bring three disciplines of movement together: Parkour, Ninja, and Calisthenics. Classes will merge these areas of fitness together to help you conquer any obstacles in your way as well as develop strength and mastery of your own body. Athletes will be able to move up through the classes by levelling up as they obtain and master their skills.

Little Ninja: Ages 4-5 yrs. (45 min.)

Jump, climb, swing, roll! This class is all about developing strength, confidence and physical literacy in your little ninja while they are being introduced to the basic skills of parkour and ninja. Have them come jump around with us instead of in your living room!

Intro Ninja: Age Groups 5-6 yrs., 6-7.5 yrs., 7-9 yrs., 10-12 yrs. (60 min.)

(Previously – Ninja and Beginner Ninja Obstacle)

This entry-level class is designed to focus on building strength and confidence through the use of our fundamental movements seen in ninja and parkour in order to handle any obstacles. These fundamental skills will be used in every class in order to develop mastery while simultaneously improving each athlete’s strength.

Level 1/2 Ninja: Age Groups 7-9 yrs., 10-12 yrs. (60 min.)

(Previous experience required)

This more advanced class builds on the fundamentals learned in Intro and takes them to new heights. Obstacles are harder, gaps are bigger! In this class we want to strengthen our mind as much as our bodies. 

Teen Ninja: Age 13+ yrs. (60 min.)

Looking for some fun and challenge? Come to our teen ninja class where you can challenge yourself, develop new skills and strength, meet new people and have an absolute blast! Don’t worry if you have never done anything like this before. Our Ninja coaches will meet you where you are at and give you the tools to be flying around like a ninja in no time.

Intro Parkour: Age Groups 7-9 yrs., 10-12 yrs. (60 min.)

(Previously – Beginner Ninja Obstacle Training)

Learn and develop skills around basic parkour movements and concepts. This class will help to develop physical literacy and strength through obstacle courses, challenges and conditioning exercises

Level 1 Parkour: (60 min.)

(Previously – Parkour Training)

Take the parkour basics to the next level and begin to drill them on more focused stations with the goal of developing mastery of the skill. This parkour class will include conditioning and a focus on understanding the language around parkour to help our athletes develop and prepare them for the next level. Must level up from Intro into this class or receive coach recommendation.

Level 2 Parkour: (60 min.)

(Previously – Pre-Intermediate Parkour)

Now with mastery of the parkour basics, we will begin building on those skills and developing more challenging and elite level skills. Skills will be combined together to move fluidly through our parkour setup as we also work on creativity in skill usage. More intense conditioning will be used to help prepare athletes for new and harder challenges as well as skill development. Must level up from Level 1 into this class or receive coach recommendation.

Level 3 Parkour: (90 min.)

(Previously – Intermediate Parkour)

This is our highest level of parkour class that requires a peak level of focus, determination, and skill. All skills in your tool belt will be used to navigate the walls and bars in different disciplines such as speed and flow (creativity). Conditioning will be used to keep the athletes strong, help with injury prevention and allow them to maximize their potential within the class. Must level up from Level 2 Parkour into this class or receive coach recommendation.

Teen Parkour: (60 min.)

Looking for some fun and challenge? Come to our teen parkour class where you can challenge yourself, develop new skills and strength, meet new people and have an absolute blast! Don’t worry if you have never done anything like this before. Our Parkour coaches will meet you where you are at and give you the tools you need to be flying over obstacles in no time!

Gym Training – Kelowna (16+ years): (90 min.)

Tuesday 7:00-8:30 pm & Thursday 7:30-9:00 pm

If you are looking to try something new, train for an upcoming event or just want to challenge yourself, join our gym training to experience parkour and ninja. This class provides access to our parkour unit for both days and the ninja unit as well during the Thursday time slot. A coach will be present to help teach and coach skills, as well as to help with making sure there is proper safety. In attending this training time, you will be responsible for warming yourself up and making sure you are also safe when performing skills. If you are unsure around setting up safety measures, that is why we will have a coach to help you out! As a special deal, if you sign up for a 3 month commitment, your monthly cost will be $240/month for that time. After the 3 months, you will roll into month to month unless you let us know otherwise.
