Parkour Classes

Parkour is the growing urban sport of efficient movement made popular in numerous movies. Skills developed include vaulting, rolling, spinning, flipping, jumping and swinging. Join one of our parkour classes!

Registration is now open for our 2019/2020 session! Classes are starting September 3, 2019.

PLEASE NOTE – Starting in September 2019 we are changing to continuous enrollment to create a more convenient system for our families:

Our gymnastics programs will be continuous based on the school year from September – June. Participants are welcome to join a class at any time and can drop a class with 30-days written notice.

Students will have the opportunity to level up to more advanced classes based on skill evaluations throughout the season or during our level celebrations in December, March and June. New classes will be introduced in September, January and April.

Enrollment is continuous. Fees are pro-rated at the time of registration for those starting after the 1st. of the month.

Trial classes are available for all of our programs – please arrange an advance booking with our front desk team. A trial class must be paid for if the participant takes part in future classes, otherwise, payment is not required. To hold class space, notice of intention is required within 24 hours of attending the trial class.

Our junior parkour classes are for ages 8-12 years – we offer classes from beginner to pre-intermediate at this age group. Sign up and experience the rush!

Junior Beginner Obstacle Course Class

This class for athletes who love parkour and want to be active. 

Just moved up from our Ninja class or want to improve your physical ability to be able to move to the next level? This class is for you! Our coaches will show you how to use your growing skills to get over the obstacles and will challenge each athlete with an individual approach. 

In this class, we don’t focus as much on the technique as we do on creating a fun environment to keep athletes active and build strength, endurance, and agility. Also, this class doesn’t have any testing, taking away the pressure from athletes. You can do parkour just for joining and be fit.

If an athlete cannot focus during the class or just moved from ninja class but still young or have been in parkour beginner class for a while because have not had enough physical ability to proceed to the next level, this is for them.  In this class, we do not focus too much on the technique of each element (skill). Coaches will show you how to use your ability to get over the obstacles and will challenge each athlete with an individual approach. 

The main goal of this class is to keep athletes active and build strength, endurance, and agility instead of focusing on elements. Physical ability is a big part of parkour.  Also, this class would not have any tests. We taking away the pressure from athletes in this class. You can do parkour, enjoy the movement and be fit.

Junior Beginner Training Class   

In this class we not just coaching, we are educating athletes.

This parkour class is for athletes who have a passion to work hard on each element and practice as long as needed to master it. 

Athletes will be able to move up to the pre-intermediate level from this class after passing skill testing (some athletes may take several attempts to pass testing – we coach our students through this learning experience). Once our hard working athletes move to the next level, they’ll be able to learn even more difficult and fun elements, engage with the parkour community and connect with high-level athletes at events.

Pre-Intermediate  and Intermediate Open Class 

These classes look may like a drop-in it includes warm-up and a strength work out (conditioning).

After the warm-up athletes have an opportunity to work on the elements and skills they want to learn or that they have not mastered in the Training Class. Our coaches will provide feedback and progression tips to learn a skill. This class is for higher level athletes who need more time to work on elements to learn and master them.
